Rocky Emery began his career in the financial industry at PaineWebber/UBS and created Emery Financial Group, a Private Client Group. As a rookie advisor he developed the very first outsourced solution for handling Non-Qualified and Restricted Stock Plans.

With this model Mr. Emery ended up with Clients like Dell Computer, EOG Resources, Haliburton, Kinder Morgan, Intel and dozens more. Implementing a “Raving Fans” service model allowed him to become a top producer for many years and built a team of 100 professionals and advisors. Mr. Emery built a Global presence to service customers around the World. This “Emery Financial Group” of PaineWebber became one of the most successful financial businesses in that industry’s history managing Billions of Private Client, Corporate, Pension, Endowment and Wealthy Family assets.  

Mr. Emery has built a reputation for creating successful financial products for large Fortune 100 companies, along with products designed for wealthy individuals and family offices. One such product was the guaranteed variable annuity GRIP I and GRIP II with Manulife Wood-Logan, which became one of their most successful products ever. In 1999, he was named the Manulife Employee of the Year and was the only non-employee to ever do so. Over the last several years Mr. Emery has helped build businesses in the energy, real estate, analytic technology, and mining industries.

Mr. Emery has served the Houston Community for many years as an Advisory Board Member and Giving Campaigns including The Houston Texans, SEARCH, The University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, University of St. Thomas, Houston Baptist University’s Center for Law and Liberty, Memorial Hermann’s Neo- Natal Unit along with several others.
